About ME

Sadie Rose was born and raised in Laguna Beach, where she now works and lives as an artist. Sadie's contemporary painting style is influenced by her passion for surrealism, street art and pop art. She received her Bachelors of Fine Art, with a focus in drawing and painting, from California Institute of Art in 2014. Her work is expressively playful; Celebrating material, texture, light, and color.

Many of her paintings have been made into haute couture fabrics. Sadie creates wearable artworks such as painted handbags, shoes and clothing, as well as creating avant-gard wire wrapped headpieces. She is often commissioned to paint custom Hermes Birkin bags, and various other leather products. 

In 2019 Sadie opened her own Artist-run Gallery, Transparent Utopia in Laguna Beach. At the same time she worked for Daniel Fine Art Services, an arts consulting firm that curates art for the hospitality industry globally. 

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, Sadie has closed her gallery doors and has gone back to creating artwork full time. She began experimenting with film and animation, where she found  a love for making  NFT’s and other forms of digital arts. Sadie is an active creator on Tiktok where she shares her current projects, inspirational art videos, and her life for the world to enjoy!
